Jake from Radius made getting to and from Dachau by train and bus easy and his historic commentary along the way created a context for our visit to the memorial. While we were at the memorial he kept the tour moving, while being mindful of the weather, and made sure that we were able to see and get a sense of the disturbing history of the concentration camp. Jake is a skilled tour guide and managed to make a sobering experience enjoyable and meaningful at the same time.”

“I can’t imagine a more effective tour guide for this experience. Getting to Dachau from Munich involves traveling by train and then bus. James expertly led us through this process to minimize wait times using his knowledge of the transportation system, including things like which end of the train platforms were the best to wait. When we did have short waits for the next leg, he filled that time by sharing his deep knowledge of the history of the Nazi party. Once we arrived at Dachau, James’s experience was again evident. He led us through a somewhat crowded site, adjusting the tour on the fly to avoid places already crowded…”

“Even tho the trains didn’t cooperate today our guide Sarah made the best of it. We didn’t make it Nuremberg because of cancelled and delay trains. Sarah stepped up and gave us an awesome tour of Munich and we got a refund for the original tour. If there were 10 stars I would rate our day a 10.”
